My exploration of the world began in my 50s, with initial adventures centered around all-inclusive trips to destinations like Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. It was on one such trip that I took my very first cruise aboard the Epic, a Norwegian Cruise Line vessel, sparking a lasting affinity for cruising with the company.

Additionally, I have a fondness for walking, exemplified by my solo pilgrimage along the Del Norte Camino route last year. While I've embraced solo travel for several years now, it doesn't imply that I always travel alone. On the contrary, I often find myself connecting with interesting individuals during my journeys, whether aboard cruises or along scenic paths.

Within this blog, I'll recount some of my most memorable experiences while also celebrating the allure of travel—whether undertaken solo, or with a companion. Expect insights into various travel options, from cruises (including river cruises) to hikes and walks, and other group travel options. I'll also share tips for both independent and group exploration. Join me as together we continue our journey to discover the beauty and diversity of the world.
